Idaho is another fairly low-crime state, but I found this very detailed website on Idaho cold cases. Lots of newspaper articles on different cases here.

UM fans may already be familiar with Wil Hendrik, and I also recognized the Angie Dodge case from Dateline. A few other cases of note:

Aaron & Kevin Annett ~ Two teenage brothers who were shot to death shortly after cashing their paychecks. Ironically, they were killed right near where they had saved their brother from drowning some time previous. There were a couple of other mysterious drownings of teens in the area around this time.

Michael Davis ~ 2 month-old child was murdered in a house where his parents lived with 4 other adults and 4 other children. Only the mom has been ruled out a suspect.

Linda Smith ~ 14 year old girl was babysitting her 9 year old brother when she was abducted from her home and later murdered. Brother relayed details of kidnapping to police, who still issued it a runaway! Possibly connected to other cases in the area.

Thanks for posting this. I live in Idaho and have only heard about the Stephanie Crane and Amber Hoopes cases. I remember Stephanie's case distinctly because it was first reported on the news on my birthday. Years later I worked with a guy who said that Stephanie was his cousin. He didn't seem to have much information about the case, but did say that the family is certain that she is no longer with us. I think I heard about Amber from the newscasts on Stephanie. It seems police initially thought there might be a connection between the two cases.
