I caught today's episode on Goodlife, and it was VERY strange. It had the opening credits from the first version of the show (the one in Arizona with Fannie Flagg and Nancy Dussault), and most of the episode featured the cast from the first version. Then, for the "tag" (the last scene), Dick was featured with a couple of cast members (Barry Gordon and Dick Van Patten) from the second, Hollywood version of the show. At first, I thought Goodlife mistakenly attached the wrong tag to the show, but when the credits rolled, it featured the correct guest cast, plus Gordon and Van Patten.
My guess is that this was structured as a flashback show, but the initial flashback setup at the beginning of the episode was edited out. Still, it was odd, to say the least.
It looks like Goodlife is starting to run the Hollywood episodes now, but if there was an episode setting up Dick's move to Hollywood, then Goodlife seems to have skipped it.
