Unauthorized "Melrose Place" Tell-All Movie in the Works at Lifetime

As if it wasn’t bad enough that "Melrose Place" has been dropped from Netflix (as of July 1), the iconic Fox drama is about to be dragged through the mud by Lifetime.

The network — already responsible for spinning the “unauthorized” tales of "Full House" and "Saved by the Bell" — is preparing to give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the Darren Star-created series, which ran for 226 episodes from 1992 to 1999.

It comes on the heels of Lifetime announcing an “unauthorized” movie of "Beverly Hills, 90210", which "Melrose Place" is spun-off from. No premiere date for the "Melrose" movie has been set.

Lifetime has released the first official cast shot from its upcoming "Melrose Place" tell-all, which aims to reveal what went down behind the scenes of Aaron Spelling’s popular drama from 1992 to 1999.

Curiously, several key players are missing from the group shot, including whichever lucky actresses been given the honor of playing Kelly Rutherford and Lisa Rinna.
