Hard to believe she's now 70 and only a few weeks younger than my mother!

Blondie is easily one of my favorite 80's bands. Here's a few of their better known songs, my favorite though was her 1989 solo release "Sweet and Low"

Hard to believe she is 70 now, but yea it's true. Beautiful woman, sultry and sexy, nice singing voice too. She often has a strange/weird way about her, I don't know if it's just her personality or if she's high or stoned on something.

The first four Blondie albums are good, especially Eat To The Beat, I think that is their best album. Then they completely changed their musical style and came out with that awful Autoamerican album. I stopped being a Blondie fan after that miserable album came out.

I'm not really familiar with her solo stuff. Sweet And Low is not a bad tune, gets your toes tappin. It sounds like one of those typical late 80's dance tunes that were the trend in those days. Similar to Rick Astley, late 80's Bananarama, etc., stuff like that.

Blondie as a group is still going, about 10 years ago they released the CD The Curse Of Blondie, not a classic but there are some worthy tunes on it. More recently they released the CD Panic Of Girls. Again not a classic but it does have some worthy tunes.
