Dear Jinny,
I hope I find you having a good time with your friends because I'm afraid I have bad news. I'm jumping the trial and moving to Europe with my family. There I will start over and not have this trial and crime hanging over my head. You know as well as I do that I didn't mean any harm, but the rest of the world doesn't. You have done more than enough for me, but I'm not taking the risk of going to jail for an offense I truely regret taking part in. What else could I have done? I've asked myself this question more times than you could think of. But everytime I do ask myself that, I couldn't come up with a better solution if I wanted to keep my life.
I'm sorry that I gave you so much trouble and I came to San Fran intending on you and the other girls not having to know. I guess your Captain knew all about it. I'm sure Teddy is a great lawyer, but once again I'm not going to risk leaving my husband and children. This will be our little secret I don't want anyone else to know (esp. NOT MRS. Jinny- I was running from myself. Everytime I took too many drinks I wasn't myself. That was my way of getting away from me. It got so bad to a point in which I didn't even know who I was at all. Because all I became to be was a drunk.

JInny-*smiles* you know i had a choice if i wanted to drink today....but i knew i would let so many people down and myself down too....ever since Dusty started drinking again, I felt like I didn't have anyone pushing me to being sober anymore....but i figured I dont need him....i have all of you...and everyday now...i ask myself....'jinny, did you drink today' and when i can say 'no' I feel like i have completed something so big

cap- you should be proud of yourself jinny

jinny- i am......i dont think we've ever talked like this before! *laughs*

Captain- i dunno...but it feels kinda good

captain- no, thank you for letting me....it's a pleasure to have you on my squad....but i have to go before haysburg gets on me....i think he has a bug up his ass for me...maybe i'm not his idea of what a ideal captain should act and look like....*winks at jinny*

It's just....it's just that when you're sober and people still think ur a drunk, it just wastes away all the accomplishments that you've gone through by not drinking, and you ask yourself if it's worth it or not, because whether you are sober or drunk....they are going to think of you as you are an alcoholic

Dan- excuse me...I want to say something *in a very sweet way*...I didn't plan for things to be this way...i mean I loved my mother very much...and im sorry to be intruding on your lives...but you'll only have to shelter me for 3 years then i can live on my own....you won't have to do much...i work and do chores and anything you need
