I've been watching McCloud and noticed that the instant he catches the bad guy the end credits start rolling. It seems like they're chopping out some of the ending. Anyone else notice this ?

Unfortunately, having edited episodes is very common among most networks. MeTV's airings of Quincy M.E. and The Rockford Files are other examples of series running with edits (reported on other sites' message boards).

In some if not many cases, the problem may be that the print being used is one that had been edited years ago - for syndication. Recently, in primetime, MeTV aired a Happy Days print that had been altered to Happy Days Again for syndication -- a good example of how prevalent this type of situation can be. A little surprising that MeTV would run that in primetime.
