Watching a episode now when Gloria opened her check and received a pink slip due to her pregnancy. Is that a thing of the past? I been laid off 4 times and never ever saw anything PINK LOL
I always heard of it but never saw one

First of all, it's illegal to fire anyone due to pregnancy. 2ndly, i think the term Pink Slip is from an earlier era.

How did they think they could terminate someone and not say why? lol
A company I worked for in 2011 was known for doing that and 2 people won lawsuits which forced them to go out of business and lead to me another LAYOFF

Yeah. Remember that ep. when he punched that obnoxious drunk guy on the subway, and he felt so bad about it later!! :confused: :D It was like Come on Mike, the guy was a drunk d*ck, he deserved to have someone take a swing at him! ;)

When my high school history teacher was laid off in 1982, he told the class "I just got my pink slip." So those were still in use for a while longer.
