Geometric mean is when you multiply the two numbers you are trying to find the geometric mean of, and then take the square root of the product. For example, if you were trying to find the geometric mean of 5 and 20, you would multiply and get 100, and then take the square root of 100 which is 10. So the geometric mean of 5 and 20 is 10. You can also take the geometric mean of more than two numbers. I hope that helped.

Thank you so much! I'm having a lot of trouble with that, and we have a test on Tuesday. Thought that I had better understand it by then!! Thanks!

Erm, why didn't you just look the word up in a dictionary if you didn't know what it meant? You'd get the answer a lot quicker than posting your question here and then having to wait for people to answer.
Just wondered.
So you guys have an actual Geometry class in school? We just get Maths classes here - stuff like geometry is just covered in the maths course.
