Less than 24 hours after Seinfeld joined Hulu, subscribers are complaining about all the ads they have to sit through. While the number of ads is fewer than what you would get on cable, it’s still annoying for Hulu users. Hulu responded to one user, hinting that there may be an ad-free option in the future. “So sorry!” tweeted Hulu. “Our focus is day-after-air tv, so we’re currently ad-supported across all shows. Haven’t ruled out an ad-free plan.” PLUS: Check out Elaine’s modern makeover (http://www.vogue.com/13275758/seinfeld-elaine-modern-makeover/), and why it’s so hard to translate Seinfeld (http://www.theverge.com/2015/6/24/8809723/jerry-seinfeld-tv-show-international-translation) for other countries.

I never understood why they show ads to the people who pay a monthly fee for Hulu Plus. Netflix doesn't show ads, so why do they? Just curious.

Or if people are that upset about ads, why not just buy the series on DVD.
