From the Julie running away 4 parter. Yesterday, in the Stick em up episode, the actor was back and he seemed to own Barbara's sporting good store, trying to slide by using the pseudonym of Mr. Erskine :cool:

It was refreshing to see that actor in a relatively "normal" role where he wasn't hamming it up. Although he was very good at that.

I enjoyed him on Gimme a Break as the partner of the chief.

He was also funny on Good Times as a limousine liberal.

I looked up his resume at imdb, and he comes back here as a third character in the season 8 finale. So they liked him too.

He was back tonight as the "bellboy" at the hotel. And in a month or two, Julie and Chuck will be running away again.

That's ryyyyyyyght! I watched the episode last night. I did not put two and two together. I totally forgot about that.

Yeah. That actor shows up in quite a few comedy shows! :) It's funny when it's the same actor on the same show but a different character though! :D

I hope we get to see Julie and Chuck run away again soon. I'm hoping ODAAT doesn't get taken off the air to make room for the new shows that are coming on Antenna ! :confused:

True. Definitely not unusual. Just something fun to watch for. (I always liked that Lucy's "mother" had an earlier role on I Love Lucy before becoming mom).

And AntennaTv's schedule shows them cycling around to the beginning on 7/27.

Both of Chucks parents were such dorks.
