Is it true when Maureen McCormick took up the role of Barbara Mandrell for the 1997 special, Get to the Heart: The Barbara Mandrell Story, did she actually learn to play the pedal steel guitar (as Mandrell herself did)?

That would make this special a real treat for Mo's musical fans.
