Hi! Glad we share the same interest, for years I have been working on a reference guide holiday themed episode book (1950-2000). I have over 4000 episodes in my collection and this book is much more difficult than a normal history/guide book as it needs to be 100% accurate of course. So far the publish date is hopefully Dec. 2016.

Actually "Small Wonder" did have a Christmas themed episode in season three #62 titled "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow". Websites have even confused this one stating that the previous episode #61 "Oooga Mooga" was the Christmas episode.

Here is a fast off the top of my head popular sitcoms list that ignored the holiday.

Gomer Pyle, USMC
My Favorite Martian
Mayberry RFD
Gidget

Here are some rarities that did

The New Gidget
Phyllis
'68 Cosby
Silver Spoons
My Mother The Car
Harper Valley PTA
New Family Affair (2002
Chico And The Man
Flo
Color 60's Singing Honeymooners
Archie Bunker's Place
Gloria
Julia

Merry Christmas!

"An Old Fashioned Christmas" was from season 2. It's one of my all-time favorite Christmas themed episodes.

no, GILLIGANS ISLAND had one, in it's first season. ME TV showed it on their "Christmas Conundrum" back in Dec.

me too

Eb: "Mr. Ziffle, look! Your wife's standing under the mistletoe!"

Fred Ziffle: "Oh, yea." (looks at Eb") "Why don't you mind your own business!"

Gilligan's Island
Hogan's Heroes

GI was already mentioned, but Rhoda did as well, Season 1 12/16/74 "Guess What I got you for the holidays" as well as a Season 3 1/3/77 New Years themed episode "What are you doing New Years' Eve?" Both available on DVD.

A absolute classic! Take note though as most of Eddie Alberts dialogue had to be re-voiced over in the studio as technical errors caused his original audio not suitable for air, so it is a bit distracting while watching the episode as they had to lipsync most of it in a studio booth.

Thanks for the info. I looked on the Wikipedia page of Christmas episodes and this one isn't listed so I assumed "Small Wonder" didn't have one. I haven't seen this episode because it's from season 3 and I can't get Antenna TV. I wish they'd hurry up and release seasons 3 and 4 on DVD!

SIENFELD never had one. They had an episode that took place during the Christmas season, but except for Christmas decorations on all the buildings and Kramer working as a store Santa, the holiday was never even mentioned.

GET SMART never had one.

MAD ABOUT YOU never had one.

It doesn't really surprise me that "Gomer Pyle" and "Mayberry RFD" didn't have a Christmas episode because "The Andy Griffith Show" only made one in 8 seasons.

I think I do recall seeing the episode "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow" but I don't remember it having anything to do with Christmas. I'm confused now.

Yes it is the episode where Vicki makes an error and people think Ted is dead, the secondary story in the episode clearly is about Jamie & friends with Santa Outfits I think earning money as usual, and though syndicated did air in December.

As for Green Acres, I have three copies of the episode including the DVD release, for those that didn't notice the voice re-doing, watch it again and you will clearly notice it.

Please feel free to let me know.

Gilligan's Island
Hogan's Heroes

Rhoda was Jewish. I wouldn't expect too many touching, heart-warming Christmas episodes from that sitcom.
