On the 14th of last month, I posted a thread called "It Finally Happened". The thing that finally happened that I wrote about in this thread was that an episode of the "Honeymooners" that I had been wanting to see got uploaded onto You Tube. The episode in question was called the "Hot Dog Stand". The reason that I had mentioned it on this page was that, I found the outcome of that episode very similar to the outcome of a third-season episode of "Gimme a Break!". During the time that that episode was up on You Tube, two people had posted comments regarding the episode. In any event, when I went over there this evening, it did not appear to be there. I guess that, the people who owned the rights to it demanded it get taken down. I wanted to see if this was just a fluke or if the people who owned syndication rights to the show had decided to be sticks in the mud regarding a lot of episodes. I looked up two other episodes that I remember seeing there before but that I could not find tonight. They were "The Great Jewelry Robbery" and "Two Men on a Horse". They were both gone. I find it interesting to observe what tends to stay up and what gets taken down. Four other series whose episodes tend to get taken down very shortly after they get uploaded are Happy Days, Three's Company, the Flintstones and the Jetsons. However, episodes of "Gimme a Break!" that get uploaded tend to stay up throughout eternity! Go figure!
