Three's Company? lol
I been a member of this board for 12 years and never ever knew or heard anyone mention that Richard Kline made a guest appearance on One day at a time. Not sure what type of role he is playing but he looks like some kind of Boss and has his own office
BTW: He acts just like Larry in this episode but just has the name Roger LOL

Aren't they airing the 1980-81 season of One Day at a Time right now? That's right in the middle of Richard Kline's tim on Three's Company.

Yeah, but Richard Kline was still under contract for Three's Company. Apparently it wasn't an exclusive contract with either the producers or the network. I know he also did The Love Boat during those years, but that was also on ABC. One Day at a Time was CBS.

Yeah, definitely it was unusual at the time for an actor on one hit sitcom to make a guest appearance on another sitcom at another network. Does it even happen that often these days?
It's even rarer that Nancy Walker got to be a regular on two hit shows on two different networks at the same time, with Rhoda and McMillan and Wife.
Why did this thing suddenly pop up? Because you can watch it again tonight.
