A tv news reporter actually came to my school today because 200 out of 900 people were sick. JDS84 03-28-2002, 07:05 PM The Flu has hit our high school there are alot of people absent at school. Daaaaaaaaaang. That's almost 2/9 of the whole school! Wow! That's a lot of people! I hope they get better soon! :) Kitt 03-28-2002, 07:52 PM Originally posted by Jean Smart Forever I'm sick. I got sent home from work cos I was shaking and I kept walking into things on account of the fact that my vision was all messed up and I couldn't think straight. I absolutely hate being ill like that - although I guess noone actually enjoys being sick - cos I can't sleep. And then when I do sleep I get all these wierd dreams that really freak me out! That's the worst part - the dreams. Montana Ponine 03-28-2002, 10:35 PM Whoa, my school went through the whole flu wipe-out awhile back..we're mostly all better now. Kay Scarpetta 03-28-2002, 10:38 PM Originally posted by hockeybabe528 i might be forced to be sick monday cuz sox's season opener....ahah Funny, I'm going to be sick too. Kay Scarpetta 03-28-2002, 10:49 PM Originally posted by kittflynn Would you elaborate on that, please? Excusez moi? I do not understand what your asking... Kitt 03-29-2002, 12:01 AM Originally posted by Jean Smart Forever Excusez moi? I do not understand what your asking... I had mono when I was a couple of years older than you are, and it did linger for months. But you're saying that you've had it for nearly a year. That seems scarily excessive. So, I was asking if you would explain what's happening with you to make you believe that. LaverneShirley 03-29-2002, 01:20 AM I've been sick, too. Today was my first day back in school since last Tuesday. 6 and a half days absent, and tons of stuff to make up. Luckily I have all of spring break. I'm still pretty weak--I have some sort of virus or something, kind of like the flu. My sister DOES have the flu, and with my luck I'll be getting that too within a week. I get sick so easily. FamilyTiesFan 03-29-2002, 01:50 AM Our school was on the news today because more than 20% of the students are sick. It was really weird, they interviewed some people from our school and our principal, but there really didn't seem to be much to say. There wasn't any special reason why everyone was sick or anything, just an outbreak of the flu. Oh.... because since last May I've had a Mono test every 2 months from one of my doctors and it keeps coming up that I have it. And I still have every one of the symptoms. No appitite, chronic sore throat not to mention I had strep numerous times, and tiredness. |
