I noticed that in the first seasons there are waitresses at the Beagle, and when they disappear into the "kitchen" they walk into a doorway behind the bar.

Fast forward to season 5. In the episode "Case of the Missing Blonde" the lady police officer (posing as a hooker) asks for food and the bartender walks across the bar to where we've previously seen the bathrooms and payphone are. Seemed weird, esp since it would've been just as easy for him to walk behind into the doorway behind the bar.

Another weird thing later in that episode is when Larry walks in after hours looking for Mr. Furley but Mike the bartender says they're closed, I mean why doesn't the Beagle have a front door with their open/close sign up, anybody can just walk in and rob the place blind.

Mace Dolex, yeah, I noticed that, too! I guess Mike doesn't lock up right away? Man I remember when I worked retail we stood by the door counting down the minutes until we locked those doors.
