It was funny! :D I liked all of Eddie Mekka's picks! ;) All last nights shows were good. I think it's cool how every week another cast member gets to pick four of their favorites to show. Penny, Cindy and Eddie already got a turn, so I'm thinking next week will be either Lenny or Squiggy's picks! ( At this moment I can't remember the actors real names)! I'm glad METV picked up L & S . I look forward to Wed. nights to see it, and my hubby likes it too! ;) shotzette 06-12-2015, 10:52 AM I'm thinking next week will be either Lenny or Squiggy's picks! Seriously, WTF?? How can you do something honoring Laverne & Shirley that does NOT involve Lenny & Squiggy in some way? A friend of mine asked Michael via Twitter what he would have chosen, and he replied "Dating Game" and "Duke of Squiggman". I love this for so many reasons... I love the fact that he chose two Lenny & Squiggy episodes rather than Lenny-centric ones, such as "Lenny's Broken Leg" and "Love is the Tar Pits". I like actors who understand the value of being part of an ensemble rather than focusing on their own stand-alone work. I also love that DG was in the first year of the much maligned California era. While I thought seasons 7 and mostly 8 stunk on ice, the first year in California gave us some great "fish out of water" moments. biffbronson 06-14-2015, 12:50 AM "Dating Game" was a very memorable episode. Jim Lange! (Gomer Pyle USMC also did a Dating Game style of episode, with former Petticoat Junction star Jeannine Riley). I loved it whenever L & S or Happy Days reprised old series -- like when Happy Days had Buffalo Bob Smith guesting, doing the Howdy Doody show. I liked seeing "Playing the Roxy" again because the episode showed off Cindy Williams' legs -- easily one of her best physical features! I'm sure it's already been written; Lenny and Squiggy meeting Roxy!;) CosmicCharlie 10-01-2019, 11:30 PM LOL Shirley playing a stripper LOL again, kinda like Carol Burnett - both are petite up top and when they shake their TaTa's they are really just shaking their shoulders for the most part - good humor - good sports - both cute too |
