We were watching the NBA finals! I seem to always miss Sunday's ODAAT eps.:( The hubby and I are usually out or people are visiting or something and now the finals.

Can you tell me what were the eps. on Sunday about if anyone has seen them? ;)

Episode 1. Dwayne becomes impotent and Ann brings in his former dental hygienist girlfriend to cheer him up! (wink)

Episode 2. Barbara's creepy college professor makes a pass at her and she brings him up on charges.

Was I crazy or was that a Van Halen necklace Barbara was wearing (in the "professor letch" episode)?

You're sane. It's in a few episodes.

Bumping up this thread! Mystery solved why I didn't see them first time around! I liked the ep. that Schneider was impotent ! Poor Schneider!!! I wonder if Ann's friend was able to cure him? It led you to believe she did! LOL!! Ann pimping her off to him!!

Veal Parmesan and wine, YUMMY!!!!!IDK ,if I was that lady I would be more interested in that than in Schneider!

Bonnie, I agree. I mean if your going to sleep with Schneider you need something a hell of a lot stronger than wine.

Conversely, I don't understand what Schnieder saw in that woman. She certainly wasn't particularly attractive, not even all that feminine looking. She sure didn't appeal to me.

I agree! For one thing she looked very old for the age she was supposed to be! She was Ann's friend from school ( I think) ? Or an old friend from somewhere roughly around the same age as Ann, putting her in her late 30's or so!!! This woman looked to be in her late 50's and she did look masculine!!!

I'm finding Schneider kind of digs that masculine, rough type woman! :p Like Ginny, the neighbor from season 2 ,that he was so hot about he even asked her to marry him!!!!

I agree I thought she was an odd choice to cast as Ann's friend. They should've cast a more sexier actress, but Norman Lear seemed to like the earthy types.

I wondered who the actress was who played her friend because I never heard of her before. I googled her name, Teri Ralston, and found her acting credits. She's primarily a stage actress. It seems she and Bonnie were real-life friends. Bonnie probably pulled some strings and got Teri the job. They both once appeared in rival Broadway plays at the same time in 1970 (Bonnie was in Applause, and Teri was in Company). They worked together again in plays after One Day at a Time, and she has participated in Bonnie Franklin’s Classic and Contemporary Plays (CCAP), an organization Bonnie co-founded to help educate and inspire students in the Los Angeles public school system.
