I was wondering what does anyone in the SitcomsOnline message boards thought about the new song titled "Uptown Funk", which is by Mark Ronson, with vocals by Bruno Mars. The song is widely influenced by the funk artists of the early 1980s and their songs. I could imagine several SitcomsOnline members thinking, is "Uptown Funk" a tribute to those 80s funk artists, or is "Uptown Funk" a mockery of those 80s funk artists?

Sounds like a song duet for Bruno Mars and James Brown...if James Brown is still with us...

At first when this song came out it was very very catchy and had a good beat. The radio stations and other media ran it into the ground by playing it way to much. It gets on my nerves now when it is played.

I love it mainly because I love Bruno Mars but I swear I can't listen to it much anymore because every time I do it gets stuck in my head for days! LOL

I wonder why the radio lists it as, "Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars" when Bruno is actually the one singing lead vocals, and Mark is singing backup.... So damn weird...
