I find it very annoying how Max always calls Ann "Shorty."
I think it is stupid. But that's my opinion.

Well Max is a bit of an A**!! LOL!!! I think he's HOT!! I mean I like the actor, and he is good for the part. He's funny and added something to the show, and DAMN he's FINE!! But I mean in real life he would be considered an a**!! First off stealing his best friends girl right at their wedding, and he's opinionated and flighty and already being in so much debt ( referring to last nights ep)! And calling his Mother in law "Shorty". But that is the one she settled for. Remember? He was calling her other names that were really annoying her? I can't remember right now what they were, but she decided "Shorty" was better than the other ones!

Let me just say that I think Max can be a bit of a jerk. First off, when Julie and Max got together it was so far fetched. Julie goes on this random ski trip and meets somebody and they want to get married. Well, that's in Julie's character but again it was way too fast.

Then we are supposed to believe that all the yelling that Julie and Max did prior to her wedding meant that they loved each other. Not believable and neither was the end of part 1 when he admitted he had feelings for her when they showed no love between each other. I mean when he said that, that also came out of left field. Not only that, they get married and the poor guy who she was supposed to marry is never seen or heard from again. I just thought it was such an out of left field plot but thats just me.

Anyway, that Al Pacino wannabe is flighty and very outspoken and kind of jerk. He also cant seem to manage his finances either.

Plus, he saved Fred some future heartache and put it all on himself(although that's in hindsight, of course).

The "Toe curling" line along with "Goody Two shoes with dimples on your butt" And the infamous " I'm making fish chowder " line while wearing a frilly, girly apron are classic, epic, NEVER to become tired of moments in ODAAT history!!! ;) :D

Re-reading this thread makes me think that the original poster didn't have it all together if you catch my drift. So what? Shorty's a nickname like any other nickname. It's not rude or disrespectful. Ann asked of it even. :confused: Of course, Wawwie's posts rarely make sense so I guess this shouldn't be much of a surprise. Just my two cents.
