That episode was a tearjerker when Jack went to the studio to rescue Janet and asked Janet to dance with him. It showed the bond between those two. I was moved to tears in that episode. It was nice for Jack to not to do a I told you so.

Yeah I thought it was very well done and one of those rare tearjerker moments for the series.
Here's a bit of useless trivia but Michael Bell who played the dancing instructor happens to be an accomplished voice actor responsible for many cartoon show favorites of the 1980's.

I agree. It showed that Jack and Janet truly loved each other as friends. I teared up, too.

And he was the guru in "Chrissy and the Guru." He was great at playing a bad guy.
I agree with Wawwie, it was a great episode and showed that they really were family.

I must have seen that episode 10 times and it still gets me after all these years. Fantastic work by DeWitt and Ritter.

This was from the 6th season (Priscilla's first). I liked that season and the fact that it was a little more serious (by 3s COMPANY standards).

I think the most serious moment on the series was in the middle of one of the funniest episodes---"Chrissy's Hospitality."
After they check Chrissy into the hospital, Jack and Janet go back to the apartment and are almost crying over the prospect of Chrissy being sick and dying. Of course, the episode ends with a hilarious bang, but I always thought that scene of J and J was uncharacteristically serious.
