I don't know if this will catch on or not, but each day I will list the two Diff'rent Strokes episodes that play on TNN and get people's reaction of how much they enjoyed it on a scale of 1 to 10. I also hope to hear what you liked about each episode, and what you didn't. Today's episodes are: Flashback where Arnold and Willis are locked in the basement, and teachers pet with Mary Ann Mobley as the teacher. I quite like the Valentines Day Retrospective one but it does get a bit dull with all the flashbacks of other episodes.
Something I didn't uderstand in that episode was when they first got trapped in the basement and Arnold started shouting for help, Willis stopped him.

The Teachers Pet one is really funny, I think Mary Ann Mobley is good in it and its the first appearences of Dudley and Robbie.

Thanks for responding Jethro. Well I guess that idea for a post didn't work too well. But anyway I just saw these two episodes finally, and agree with you. I didn't like the Valentine's day episode at all. Talk about a pointless show. That was probably the worst one Nick At Nite has played so far. The odd thing is I vaguely remembered that particular episode as a kid as being one of my favorites, but not anymore. I give that one a 4.


As for the teachers pet episode, I liked that one alot. Not only was it Mary Anne Mobley's debut on the show, but it was also Robbie, and Dudley's. I give that episode a 7. Was it just me, or was Mary Anne Mobley much more attractive in the second season then she was in the eigth?

Another thing that was odd about the Valentine's Day episode is you would think after several hours in there someone would have heard them talking, or they would have heard someone walking by. I don't know, maybe Willis stopped Arnold from banging because he wanted a day off from school or something.

I thought Valentines Day Retrospective was okay. Flashbacks can old though. It's interesting how Mary Ann Mobley appeared on the show in season two then later came back in the later seasons.
