Thanks for that response! Apparently, I have a ways to go before I hit "veteran" status. Also, I believe that when I reached 500, I did not become a "junkie," but remained a "regular." Still, I'm glad that I have become a "senior member," and when that status changed, I was very much excited.

The membership system makes no distinction between quality and quantity of posts created,deeming it sufficient to rely on the sheer number of contributions proffered from any given individual,and though I am unsure as to whether there is an exigency for the current system to be overhauled I might just add that cronyism abounds in any hierarchical society which tends to be a closed one and the class system is by definition just one manifestation thereof and given this my own personal preference would be to do away with the said appendages once and for all.
