Last night Me-TV went into Season 6 of The Bob Newhart Show, and I noticed that the episode began with Emily leaving from the old apartment, and then at the office Bob grabbed the cup of coffee that Jerry had just finished from Carol and found that it was empty. This wouldn't be a problem except last week and in late Season 5 episodes, the opening showed Emily in the new apartment (on her way out) and then at the office Bob & Jerry exchanged mail, since Carol had handed each of them the wrong stack. Does anyone know if these credits are mismatched on the Season 5 & 6 DVD sets as well, or is this just a mistake that Me-TV (or the syndicator that packaged these episodes) made?

I have not noted that the opening credits were mismatched on my DVD's. I'll bet the syndicators gave ME-TV an old package copy.

On my season six dvd set from Shout! Factory, the opening credits have not been the normal we've seen from the past seasons with either Bob coming home or leaving home. The first few episodes have a shortened song and opening credits. Does this continue through the season or do we get back to a regular opening similar to the past seasons?
