"Last Man Standing" Renewed for Season 5 at ABC

It took some extra negotiating between ABC and 20th Century Fox TV, but I hear a deal has been sealed for a fifth season of "Last Man Standing". The multi-cam sitcom has done a solid job opening Friday night on ABC.
Led by "Shark Tank", with contributions from "Last Man Standing" and "20/20", ABC has become the dominant network on Fridays among adults 18-49.
In anticipation of a fifth season renewal of "Last Man Standing", 20th TV recently signed a deal with series’ co-executive producer Matt Berry to become executive producer/showrunner for Season 5. He will succeed Tim Doyle, who is moving on after three years at the helm.
A fifth season will likely help 20th TV to land an off-network syndication deal for the sitcom.
