what did you think of this week's episode?

Cold Open: Southern Republican Leadership Conference - this was kinda stupid, even if I knew who any of those people were supposed to be, the whole politicians being cool thing is dumb and over done

Monologue - Reese Witherspoon introduces the cast with their moms and silly stories which are mildly amusing but some of the videos were funny

Be Scene in L.A. - a tired premise with a few predictable bits when the mics are left on, hopefully this doesn't become a recurring sketch - although Jay Pharoah and Keenan were funny

Picture Perfect - this was literally a one joke sketch; it was funny and they tried not to drag it out too long, but it was all for one bit - couldn't they have put a little more effort into this? Bobby Moynihan and Keenan Thompson were good, but this wasn't very well thought out

Mr. Westberg - I really liked this one, I wasn't really expecting it to go in that direction but it was funny and I usually don't like Beck Bennett.

Weekend Update - Jost & Che tell a few topical jokes that are passable (notice that there are less of these every week in favor of the segments that are so much better), Leslie Jones is hilarious, Keenan Thompson's Willie is one of my favorite characters and he is great this week, the "Girls you wish you hadn't gotten into conversation with at a party" was funnier with just Cecily Strong, Jost and Che's bit with the mom text jokes was painful

High School Theater - Bobby Moynihan and Leslie Jones were funny but the rest of this was just stupid - haven't they basically done this exact same pointless sketch before?

Southern Housewives - I liked this one, the stories were goofy and the twist ending made it even better

Water Slide - this is why I hate Beck Bennett, talking like a stoner does not make a stupid pointless sketch funny; this sketch really didn't even have a point or any jokes and the only funny bit was Keenan Thompson talking about the kid that got his dong caught in the water jet

Whiskers R’ We - Kate MacKinnon was good, she hasn't really done a whole lot this episode, but overall this sketch was just so-so
