This is essentially, a variation of the tried and true "jumped the shark" concept.

Way back when I used to watch The Jerry Springer Show I remember there being two episodes that aired around the same time that made me come to the conclusion that the show is scripted and led me to quit watching. One involved a young woman who left her boyfriend for a very old man. The ex-boyfriend said "What's he gonna do, hit me with his walker?!" The old man replied with "Watch it, sonny!" :rolleyes: The other episode had a black man in a KKK robe saying "I'm ashamed of my race!" :rolleyes:

well the only one I can think of now is when Greys Anatomy killed Dr.Shepard and didn't even give him a proper sendoff...they lost me as a viewer and three of my closest friends too.
