I don't think I ever saw this woman in anything other than selling Palmolive, but she was in the episode that just went off playing the new (horny) owner of the apartment building who's coming on to Schneider. Quite the opposite of Madge. It felt weird.

Fran Ryan was in just about EVERYTHING in the '60s, '70s and '80s. I always feel a little sad when I see her because she had such a tragic life. She had two short marriages that both ended for the same tragic reason (plane crashes), and within the space of just a couple years. But it took 15 years to confirm her second husband died in a plane crash. He went missing in 1953 and they didn't find the plane wreckage until 1968.
