Lionel had a job, and was in Grad school and they were trying to say he could not live with a woman if he wanted to? LOL Who cares if they wasn't married? lol Lionel was a grown a$$ man and was in position to live with whoever he wanted lol

It is pretty funny. But, you also have to remember how both sets of parents grew up.

Exactly! The Jeffersons and Willis's were from that old school generation. It was really frowned upon for a man and woman to live together if they weren't married!
