Hi everybody!
Am trying to remember who was having a certain dialogue in a sitcom could have been a Seinfeld,but not sure. two friends were about to throw down and they kept making rules as they went, and near the fight , it got down to the line" I have work tomorrow, so not in the face? it was a fairly recent sitcom . thought friends possibly? the lines was first used , i remember in Blazing saddles. it is not that! the two guys wound up just doing that slap fight thing like two girls !! just cannot remember who it was? thanks to all who help !!!!!!

yea, it was the FRIENDS episode where 2 guys accost Ross & Chandler at Central Perk. The line is in a scene where they call them outside to fight them and they're making the rules before they start.

I thought it may have been friends ! yes, that was the one I was thinking. but, I also really though there was something k=like that on Seinfeld also. but, thanks. and Alan Brady's hair,love the sig !

A-ha! Just saw tonight: in the episode where Kramer goes to California, Jerry and George are sitting in the coffee shop squabbling over Elaine's keys. It degenerates into a little (still seated) slap fight, and just as the scene ends George says, "Not in the face!"

I KNEW IT! WOW! amazing you found it! it does not show up on searches for that part of the episode, so knowing the number and season would help! could you send that to me? would like to watch it again! I feel vindicated! I knew there were two versions of a not in the face line! but the details kept blurring together ! thanks again!
