It's the first time in years that no celebrity will front a talk show, as the format appears to be in decline.

I don't think the format is in decline. I think there are just too many daytime talk shows!!

The new format is to have a round table originated on the "The View", but I don't 100% agree with the title of the article as Tyra Banks will headline her ABC Network Daytime series this September 2015, she will have another four women but they are unknowns with "specialties" unlike the "celebrities" on "The Real", "The Talk", "The Chew", etc.

Ice T & his wife Coco are going to have a talk show on Fox....It premieres on August 3rd and I am really excited about that....Ice T is a fave of mine and really looking forward to it....

Thank God. I mean whats the point? The talk show fails within the first year or so anyway.

True but the series you mention is just a 4-6 week summer test in selected markets on the fox o and o's, it will be "tested" while "The Real" is on summer haitus. This has been common practice for fox to test shows with some making it and some failing their test....winners so far...Wendy Williams & The Real both were tested for only 6 weeks.

If Ice T & Coco test well it would premiere as a series in fall 2016.

I'm a little surprised that The Real is doing so well. I watch it sometimes and it seems to miss something. I dont know if its the segments or maybe some of the stuff they talk about isnt interesting. Or maybe, its too emotional sometimes. I do like Loni Love. It seems like they havent capitalized on her funniness on the show.

If with a famous host was taken out and it said There will be no new daytime talk show this fall, that would be perfect! Syndication has become littered with way too many talk shows, it has squeezed out reruns of good older shows.

Catsrule, I agree. I'd much rather watch a gameshow or something instead of watching a talk show that will only be on a season or two.
