 :) I am sure someone has come up with this idea before. But wouldn't it be great if there were a Sitcoms meet and greet where the members could meet eachother and just talk about the shows, the posts and comments and just have a great time and become friends? Wow I would so love that. I really like so many of you on sitcoms already and feel like we could all be friends. I would buy Penny Lane a cup of cofeee and a donut to celebrate her 21,000th post. Try to help some of the members who are down come up with a solution for their problems. Because that;s what friends are for. Love ya guys. :-) Tim

That is a sweet thought! :) I consider many people here are my friends as well ! :) We are all scattered across the country and even some are in other countries ( like Furienna in Sweden) ! So we are all together here still in heart and spirit! :)

This thought has crossed my mind before too. I thought it would be cool if we had a S.O. Convention where we could all meet each other in person. Like Bonnie said we are spread out all over the world so it would be difficult to actually pull off!

The Owens family on Mr. Belvedere. :D They mention Altoona a lot on that show!

How close is Pittsburgh from Altoona? I'm an old Philly gal originally , but I don't know that much about Western PA. I do know it's very mountainous and beautiful though from being on road trips as a kid! ;) :)

I have been all over PA myself, although I live in New York. And yes, it is very mountainous in some places. But it has it's flat lands as well. And very very cold during the winter. My job takes me everywhere so I am near different cities at any given time.

George and Marsha honeymooned at the Altoona Motor Lodge. George thought it would be romantic to take Marsha there for their 20th anniversary but it turned out to be a total dump!!

If we have a meet and greet convention then I suggest we have it at what could be considered an overall middle ground...Missouri! ;)
