I watched them both this weekend and was bored to tears. The show ended so well and the legacy was blown with these two movies.
I at least liked the first movie because they tried to continue where the show left off.
They did not even try with Return of the Seavers! They sold that freaking house in the series finale and now we are supposed to believe they never left. That blows my mind! They insult their fans even more by using a different house/set. If they are going to do a story line involving the same house then they should at least use the same set or replicate a new set that looks the same. The layout of the house in the movie does not even look like the original house.
Unless they moved back into that house after being in Washington for multiple years then they wasted an entire 2 hours. If that was the case then they should have explained it.
