View Full Version : Wicked Ann was a horrible title for this season 6 episode

I viewed this episode the other day because the title sounded very interesting but this was one of the many episodes where Alex would cause problems for Ann.

As I look more and more into the seasons with Alex I now see why he needed a spanking. He needed therapy more than a beating because he had some issues that needed therapist guidance.

He reminds me of a male Julie. He has that annoying whining and temper that makes me want to jump through the screen and slap him myself.

Watching these episodes with Alex makes me realize why I did not miss Julie because she was there the entire time in the form of Alex

I saw that episode and I am glad that Ann checked that dude. He was being such a little brat. I remember him hitting Ann before he threw down that plant and got hit by Ann.

I have been wanting to see this episode again after I first saw Alex shatter that plant 30 years ago---where are you all seeing these later episodes?? They're not on YouTube, and they're not on DVD, and they're not on TV (at least not until later in this run of AntennaTV).

A few years ago I was able to get my hands on the entire series and have been watching the show over and over. The episodes come from either Comedy Gold or Comcast On Demand which both aired unedited versions of the show.

cleverfun300, don't TV recordings ever come to mind when someone says they have seen something that has not been on the air? It not like recording devices did not exist back then.

FYI, the show aired in Canada for 2 years prior to it airing on Antenna TV. Just because they are not on DVD, YouTube or TV in America does not mean their aren't other options for seeing the show.

Exactly! I saw this particular episode on "E" in the mid and late 90's so I know. Plus, I watched the series in the late 80's on WGN, TBS and a local affiliate (WTOG). Then TBS aired it again in the summer of 1992.

Ahhh...well, I didn't know any stations had aired the show at all since syndicated reruns in the '80s, so that's why I wondered. I thought Antenna-TV's airing was the "resurgence" of the show on TV for the first time in 30 years.

Sure, Maybe you're right. But then again if they had recorded the show, you'd think that would be a special enough thing that they would mention it. I mean it would not only re-enforce that they knew what they were talking about. . .but it would show how big a fan they are.

I'm not sure what you're referring to. Both ThomasE and I have mentioned that we have recordings of the show. I was lucky enough to get my hands on On Demand episodes ,Comedy Gold episodes and a few E! episodes from seasons 5-9. Blending these 3 sources together I have all episodes of the show except 1 which will be airing on Sunday during the Mother's Day marathon.

I would also like to point out that I have multiple original airings from CBS. I don't usually mention that I have those because the audio and video quality are not the best.

I have some as well but it doesn't matter to me about quality but the authenticity about the show.
