I'm rooting for Ginger Minj and Katya.

I am loving this season. I am rooting for Ginger Minj and Trixie Mattel. I also loved Miss Fame. She is a sweetheart, and actually an excellent performer. It just didn't come across very strongly on the show.

I'm watching! I've watched the show since it began!

My 3 favorites this year are Ginger Minj, Trixie Matel, & Max. I think Ginger will win.

Violet Chachki gets on my nerves. I think he can have an attitude sometimes, and when he re-enacted "Adore's" performance in "Sissy That Walk" I thought he stunk. He looks nothing like "Adore.".... doesn't even act like him.

BTW, does anyone know why RuPaul is not doing a segment for "Untucked" anymore? You know, the "Untucked" episode that would always air after DragRace. My guess is that a few of the guys admitted that they are alcoholics and in "Untucked" they are always served alcohol. I wonder if that's the reason. I remember Katya and Fame saying that they are trying to stay sober.

I agree with you but I really do think Violet will be in the top 3. I don't like her but I'm not denying that she does have talent... I call it where I see it.

I agree with this. If not Violet, then Katya, but it will probably be Violet. Ginger will win hands down.

I gotta admit I didn't like Joselin Fox at all. I hated the way he would always lift his boob after a "joke" and go "wa wa." I thought it was annoying. A lot of things about him annoyed me.

I agree. He looks great in and out of drag! There's a night club in my area that seems to get a Drag Race contestant about once a month. They perform and do a meet and greet afterward.

I like Chad Michaels a lot. I wanted him to win instead of Sharon Needles. Is Ongina the bald one? If so, I like him too. Manilla is gorgeous, Alyssa Edwards is hilarious and Bianca DelRio is beyond hilarious! I was really rooting for him last year and I was so happy when he won!

I'm so glad that Ginger got to stay after he lip synched for his life. I will miss Trixie though.

As for the Dancing With the Stars bits, I thought Kennedy Davenport did the best job, but Pearl won the challenge.

Ugh, I knew Trixie wouldn't make top three by any means, but she deserved to stay longer than that, especially since she is a dancer.

But on another note, I get to see Ginger Minj tomorrow at Drag Queen Bingo! :)

Drag Queen Bingo is something that has become popular over the past few years. It's like regular bingo, except it's hosted by a drag queen, and is more of a comedy show than a game to win cash. The winners usually get silly prizes (at least the one's I've attended) over money. Ginger was an excellent host. Even though his grandfather passed away yesterday, he didn't miss a beat. Ginger was completely spot on and incredibly hilarious. I have a feeling once Ginger wins the show, the local shop is going to have a hard time booking him for future appearances!

I loved Ginger's two Hello Kitty runway looks last night. He was hilarious when he came out dressed as the moo cow kitty and then he looked gorgeous in that dress with all the kitty cats sewn to it. I think he should have won the challenge, but I guess it was Violet's turn to win a challenge. I did like Violet's kitty look, but I didn't care for his second look. I was sad to see Katya go. I thought his look was a lot better than Kennedy's look. I didn't like Pearl's look at all.

I agree--Pearl's look was horrific! It looked like a beach towel wrapped around her. I don't know why the producers are keeping her on the show for so long. She should have been gone weeks ago. It should have been Pearl and Kennedy in the bottom two.

I must be very naïve, because up until now, I really and truly thought that it was RuPaul's decision on who goes. I had no idea that he wore an earpiece so the producers could let him know who to send home. :lol:

I am in agreement--Pearl should have been the one sashaying away! I'm not a Kennedy fan, but she is wayyyyy better than Pearl. Ginger was so right in this episode stating that Violet and Pearl are too young to know what being the drag superstar means; that it's like being an ambassador, and they don't have a comprehension of that.

...getting ready to watch the encore episode now. I didn't get to see the new episode when it aired, so I'm going to watch it in it's encore....a few minutes from now.

Ugh. Such a disappointing end to the season. Violet did not deserve that at all. She had great runway looks, that's it. She isn't funny. She can't sing. She can't act. She has no personality. Well, I saw the "Season 7" show last night that I posted about above. As far as performances go, I liked them all. They all did very well. Pearl's actual performance was the least impressive, but she made up for it in being funny, actually hilarious on stage. Violet tried to be funny, but wasn't really, but she made up for it in performance. Both Trixie and Katya were fabulous in their performance and were hilarious.

As for the meet & greet...ugh. It goes back to what Ginger said about Violet and Pearl not being ready for this. That they don't understand it's like being an ambassador for drag and that they aren't old enough for that. Truer words have never been spoken. By the time the meet & greet happened, Pearl was a drunken mess, slurring words all over the place and practically falling down. It was like pulling teeth to try to get her to sign a picture. When signing a poster for a guy, she literally got sharpie all over his face. Violet also was going off about not being ready to get back to work yet because she was just on a "two-week coke binge in LA." Really nice. On the other hand, Trixie and Katya were completely sober and super nice to meet, which is great because they were the main reason why I went to the show.

I would love to meet Katya. I hated when he was eliminated. I think it was Kennedy who won the lip synch against him. I'm pretty sure that was the Hello Kitty episode.

BTW, I do agree with Ginger about how neither Violet or Pearl are old enough to know what's what. Sounds like those two don't know how to handle their business.

I just got back from another show at the local night club and this month's guest was Courtney Act. While I wasn't a huge fan on the show, Courtney was great in person. She sang live during the performances, and was also super sweet to meet after the show. Very professional all around. I was impressed.

Courtney Act (Shane) is gorgeous and he's a very good singer. I think he is very talented.... seemed like Chazz Bono had the "hots" for him. I know they went on vacation together recently. :)

I saw/met/spoke with Ginger again this weekend at drag queen bingo. Ginger lost about 50 pounds since season 7 ended, and looks fabulous! After the show, we went to the bar across the street and about a half hour later, Ginger (Josh) came in out of drag to hang out, which was pretty cool.

^^^ That is so cool. I can't imagine Ginger as fifty pounds lighter. I'm too used to him as chubby. Ginger is gorgeous. I'm sure he looks great now.

I'm still watching RuPaul's RuVealed season four. I love when Phi Phi O'Hara calls Sharon Needles "Party City." :lol:

Unfortunately, I'm unable to attend an event tonight featuring Ginger Minj, BenDeLaCreme, Milk and Raven, but I am looking forward to this Christmas event next month! It will be my first time seeing Jinkx. I've also never seen Willam live, but I wasn't a huge fan. Maybe seeing the live performance will change my mind.

The Christmas Queens show last night was one of the best I've attended. Unfortunately, Willam was sick and had to drop out. Jinkx Monsoon took over as host and was FABULOUS! I liked Jinkx in season 5, but had no idea what a natural comedian she is. She was absolutely hysterical and spot on.

This show was SO much better than the season 7 show I went to in July. These are true drag professionals. Jiggly Caliente replaced Willam. I wasn't a big fan of Jiggly on season 4, and the same held true last night. Jiggly just comes off as an amateur compared to the rest.

Alaska was hilarious and fun as always. Ginger was the true professional she always is. She was recovering from the flu, but still sang live and sounded great. Jinkx also has a terrific singing voice. I love Sharon and last night was no exception. Sharon is a true performer. It is obviously a big thing to tip drag queens, but sometimes the queens get a little too greedy and basically stop the show to collect money. Pearl and Violet have been guilty of this in the past. At one point Sharon stopped taking people's money and said, "I'd rather just perform." Katya also received a ton of applause and completely deserved it. She is a natural comedian.

Another thing I love is that you can tell for the most part that the queens are actually friends in real life. The playful banter between them on stage, with insults and name-calling is hilarious. A great moment was when Jinkx and Alaska randomly started going back and forth trying to outdo each other with impressions of Alyssa Edwards.

I loved Derrick, but yeah, his makeup is always quite basic and the eyebrows were a disaster. Miss Fame recently did Derrick's makeup, and I love it--such a difference!

I think I'm also rooting for Naomi Smalls, but I'm not sure if it's going to happen. If Naomi wins I think the general audience might think of it as another Violet Chachki type win, as in a younger queen and an underdog type. I like Bob and I like Kim Chi all right, but I don't know that I want them to win.

I'm just saying that since the winner is ultimately up to the producers, I think they may take age into consideration since it was such a big deal for them to choose such a young queen last year, and that they might go for someone more "seasoned."

I'll actually be annoyed if they go with Bob. Bob is funny and does well with acting, but his makeup is so amateur, as was pointed out several times. Last year, Ginger was always on point with comedy and acting, AND Ginger's makeup was always phenomenal and we know how that turned out.

Naomi is up right now on the finale. He looks gorgeous.

Even though Naomi didn't win, the top three and beyond will be set. They will get plenty of bookings, and the chance to get on future RuPaul's Battle of the Seasons tours which will get them well over $100,000.

I did want Naomi to win, but I had a feeling that Bob would win in the finale, so I wasn't surprised at all.

Did anyone catch the new episode of All Stars last night? Roxy Andrews looked HOT doing his burlesque routine. Tatianna also looks great. I liked his talent portion of the show too.

I really enjoyed the first episode. I thought Tatianna was boring until the talent show, and then I was impressed. I wasn't a fan of Roxxxy during Season 5 but I did enjoy him this time, at least in the first episode. I really don't know who I'm rooting for yet because I like so many of them. I was glad that Coco was eliminated. I wasn't a fan during Season 5 and I'm still not.

I liked Katya during his time on RuPaul's Dragrace, but this time around he ticked me off when he was "reading" Roxxxy and said something about how he thinks about him every time he's at the bus stop. That was not funny. That was just mean and very low in my opinion. We all know that Roxxxy's mother abandoned him at a bus stop when he was a child. So I thought Katya's "read" for Roxxxy was cruel, low and shameful.
Roxxxy did lose a lot of weight. He looks great. Adore looks like he gained weight! He's looking slightly chubby these days. I don't care for PhiPhi O'Hara's blue hair. Detox looks like a clown. Right now my favorites are Roxxxy, Tatianna and Ginger.

I guess if I had to choose, right now my favorites are Ginger, Katya, Adore and Alaska.

Adore has definitely gained quite a bit of weight. While I was a huge fan in season 6, I don't really think this show is his thing anymore, as he said in the episode. I'm not big at all into his "grunge drag" and I don't think the judges will love it, either. I hope this is just a phase because when he wants to, he can be very pretty.

I guess if I had to choose, right now my favorites are Ginger, Katya, Adore and Alaska.

Anyway, I agree about Adore. He can be very pretty despite the new grunge drag. Adore is a free spirit and I agreed with him when he told Roxxxy that he "doesn't think he belongs here." Adore is his own person and being "critiqued" is no longer his thing. He outgrew RuPaul's Dragrace. While the show is still very much for many other queens, the show is no longer for Adore.

Well, this season has not gone the way I've expected it to at all. Ginger just did not find the right moment to shine, unfortunately. Ginger will still always be one of my top favorites. I think Alaska has the best shot at taking this, being consistently great in every episode. I'm rooting for Katya and Alaska, but I think Katya's days are numbered.

Was it just me or did it seem Shania Twain felt extremely uncomfortable on last night's episode? She looked like it was a painful experience.

Shania has always been more on the shy side and over the past few years she's been coming out of her shell more. I thought she did just fine.

So far, I'm rooting for Miz Cracker.

I was surprised to see Blair go. I thought his runway look for tonight was pretty good. Too bad it wasn't enough to keep him in the running.

Blair's look on the runway was so much better than The Vixen.

The Vixen is very unpolished. I don't see how he's made it this far.

I do admit that The Vixen did better on the lip sync but still, Blair should've stayed.

Nothing wrong with being odd! :lol: I like Eureka and Monique too, but I mostly root on Asia.
I liked Blair a lot. After he was voted off and after he was reading his goodbye notes, he had a look in his eyes like he had the experience of his life and that he knows this is just the beginning of his career. I think good things are ahead for him. :)

Blair looked stunning on the runway last night. I was also surprised to see her go. She's so young and will have a long and successful drag career, I'm sure.

7. Vixen: This one needs to go FAST. Just annoying and so full of useless drama.

6. Monet: I want to like her but something is just "off". I think her makeup skills are lacking.

5. Kameron: I think she's the silent but deadly competitor.

4. Asia: A very strong competitor. Possible finale potential.

3. Cracker: Funny and fashionable but something seems to be missing. Can't pinpoint it.

2. Aquaria: Not my favorite. She has no personality AT ALL but the fashion is stunning.

1. Eureka: Definitely not the most polished (Aquaria is the most polished) but she's the one that has the complete package....and it's a big package. ;)

After last night, count me in as an Aquaria fan. The Melania was SPOT ON! The runway looks are always killer.

I thought Phi Phi was bad but at least her drag was good. Vixen is just sad on all accounts.

Phi Phi is a total trouble making BITCH! I never liked him. He always manipulated and pitted the other queens against each other. Phi Phi only cares about his self.

After watching the lip sync, I knew they would both be safe. I was nervous for Eureka during the first half of it.

Aquaria really needs to tone down the cockiness.

I saw the non-elimination coming a mile away when those two were in the bottom 2. I just had that feeling no one would go home.

I could not be more thrilled with the finale. Ever since Snatch Game, Aquaria has been my favorite. I hope to see her perform live someday.

The new season seems to be getting off to a good start. Silky Nutmeg seems very interesting. It's a shame that SunJee had to sashay away so soon, but his outfit wasn't as good as the rest. I liked him though. He had a good personality. It was also nice to see some of the former queens like Ginger Minj and Adore Delano. :)

Tonight's episode was pretty good. I'm glad that Mercedes got to stay after the lip sync. He's pretty cute. Silky got on my nerves a little bit this week. I liked that lion's runway look the best tonight. I can't remember his name. He was dressed like a lion and he was wearing a really long, big honey colored wig.

Ginger Minj was hilarious as Donald Trump! Ginger and Silky were the best in the Rusical IMO.

RuPaul looked extra gorgeous. I really loved the wig he was wearing this week. I don't think he ever ages! Always so gorgeous! :)
