(The Brooklyn Nets beat the Atlanta Hawks 120-115.)

(Ralph meets Ed at the Gotham Bus Company after work.)

Ralph: "Norton, the Nets scored a big win over the Hawks."

Ed: "That's true. The Nets can become the first team to win the NBA title with a losing record."

Ralph: "What history that would make. In the eyes of many, it would be a fairy tale story but not in my eyes. I know that they would win it all when the Knicks fell out of playoff contention."

Ed: "Me too. I agree with what you said. The Hawks thought they would have it easy. Not true."

Ralph: "I bet that Ted 'The BUM' Turner is sweating bullets. When the Hawks lose the next two games to the Nets, he would want the news to be on CNN."

Ed: "Yeah, he is that much of a crybaby."

(Ralph & Ed laugh.)

Ralph: "Especially since the Hawks have been so bad, they haven't won an NBA title since the days of the original incarnation of the Jackie Gleason Show."

Ed: "The Hawks are going to get swatted by the Nets and the Nets will rule the NBA this postseason. Like I said, when the Nets win the NBA title, it will be a Cinderella story in the eyes of most people. There's one thing I don't get."

Ralph: "What is that?"

Ed: "Those people know that the Nets aren't ladies and don't want to wear women's clothing."

(Ralph rolls his eyes.)

(Ralph & Ed sing a story about how many people think the Nets are the Cinderella team.)

(Jackie walks on stage. Crowd cheers.)

Jackie: "Thank you. The Miami Beach crowds are the BEST! GOOD NIGHT!"

(Crowd cheers.)
