I'll watch some but probably not all, especially at 2:00 I like Love Boat on MeTV.

I will check out both episode this afternoon. I am hoping nothing was cut out for syndication because if she is in the credits they could have at least left that scene in.

This reminds me of how they edited the Rhoda DVDs and cut out that scene with Mary from episode 1. I don't think that scene airs in syndication either

Oh crap, this marathon will mean no Small Wonder on Sunday. That sucks because it is a decent show. It is not the best but it is cute.

I hate that some shows are only on weekends because they are the first ones that get pushed to the side for a weekend marathon.

I actually REALLY looked forward to being able to watch "Small Wonder" on Sunday from 1-2pm but being able to see a couple episodes of "ODAAT" from season 3 will also be nice. I'm happy either way. By the way, I can't get AntennaTV at my home, I have to watch it at work in my office on my lunch break. That one little hour on Sunday is all I get to watch Antenna TV.

It dawned on me recently that just maybe she did have a scene or two but it was just cut in syndication. To have her in any scene during the last season is kind of valuable to me now. ;)

Julie does not appear in Take My Ex even though she is in the credits. I just checked out the episode and she does not appear. Unless something was cut out she did not appear in that episode was cut out.

Both episodes I checked out are between 24 and 25 minutes long so I doubt anything was edited. Unless the producers filmed a scene that they decided to remove at the last minute there was no Julie or even a mention of her in Take My Ex.

Talking about syndication how did episodes are in the old days? Remember when I Love Lucy, ODAAT, Andy Griffith used to air on TBS and other channels? Were the episodes chopped up even back then? If not, why cant they show the show the way it was presented?

I did a quick check and Julie does appear in both of those episodes. I will give details in about and hour or so when I get home

Episode breakdown for the first scene before commercial break
1. Schneider comes in and picks on Sam about not lasting long with Ann
2. Sam and Ann argue over their new living situation
3. Mark comes in after Ann leaves the room so Sam can do more complaining
4. Schneider walks in during a conversation with Mark and Sam walks over and throws his keys out of the window
5. Sam leaves out before Ann can get a kiss

Second scene:

1. Julie complains that Max's story has too many sexual scenes to Barbara.
2. Sam is upset so he defends his use of those scenes
3. Doorbell rings and Ann is at the door
4. She wanted to see her granddaughter who is asleep
5. Max questions why Ann is so happy after a few weeks of marriage
6. Ann eventually breakdown and tells them what is wrong while eating several chocolate chip cookies.
7. Max tell Ann that these feeling are normal but Ann smacks him on the head.
8. Ann story gives him an idea for a story so he and Julie run out to write out his new storyline

Third scene: Ann is back at the apartment with Schneider but I think this scene is in the syndicated version so I won't detail what happens here.

Schneider meets her in the hall as she is entering the apartment after leaving Julie, Max and Barbara. This is probably all of the detail you guys will need for this episode. I can gladly give more information if you guys need it.

I don't watch the syndicated versions on Antenna TV so I don't know what was edited out of this episode.

UPDATE: After an argument with Sam is over a dog Ann arrives back at the house of Barbara, Max and Julie to beg them to take a dog.

One again Max gives advice that was not asked for and her and Mark are rejected for their input.

Barbara and Mark recognize the dog and takes it back to it's owner.

Sadly the commercials are more important that the content of their programming so more programming is cut to add programming.

Nick, TBS and TV Land don't air the same versions of the shows they did when they aired in the 80s and 90s.

My friend works for a television station and told me all of the tricks they use for editing programming.

1. They can speed up the programming
2. They can cut the opening credits down to a few seconds
3. They can totally cut out the ending credits and do their own version
4. They can cut to a commercial in the middle of a scene and not return back to it.
5. They can do a side by side where one show will be ending on one screen while the other show is beginning on the other
6. They can shave off as much as 5 extra minutes from an already edited for commercials print so they can add more commercials in

I'll tell you they should be fined when they do any of those 6 things above. Do you know how annoying that is?:mad: :mad:

Julie does not appear in Take My Ex and I seriously don't see how they could have time for a scene with her when the entire episode was about how pathetic Sam's ex Marge was.
