Nepal has been hit by a massive tremor, ranking a 7.8 0n the Richter Scale. :(

2,300 are confirmed dead, a number, which will most likely rise.

The fault line that caused Nepal's Quake runs from Indonesia to the Mid-Atlantic Ocean. In India two plates, the Asian Plate collides with the Indo-Australian Plate, which has resulted in the formation of the Himalaya Mountains. In the Mediterranean Sea from a point east of Greece to a point south of France the European and Adriatic plates overruns the African Plate, which causes active volcanoes such as Mt. Etna, Stromboli, Vesuvius, and Santorini to form. (About 3,500 years ago Santorini (Which was named Thera in ancient times) Blew itself abort in an explosion that made Mt. St. Helens look like a firecracker. (Black Coral, which grows at least 500 feet below sea level carbon dated to this time has been found 300 feet ABOVE sea level as far as France, and on the banks of the Nile River 100 miles inland. The parting of the Red Sea mentioned in Exodus may have been the description of waters of the Mediterranean Sea retreating before coming back as a massive Tsunami (Between Egypt and Israel there is a bay called "The Sea of Reeds" which may have been "corrupted as the Red Sea. (Don't Quote me on this). Is this was the scientific answer to what happened during the Exodus ask yourself WHO timed the event to happen at the time.

My prayers are for Nepal.

The source I read said it was the worst in 80 years. Btw the Indo-Mediterranean Fault Line is the second biggest fault line in the world, only the circumpacific faultline (AKA-"Ring od Fire") is bigger. This fault line is known by several names, in the Continental US, Canada and Alaska It has the following names:

From Mexico to north of San Francisco, The Saint Andreas Fault. here two tetonic Plates rub side-by-side, causing all the earthquakes in southern California.

From north of San Francisco to Alaska, The Jean De Fuca Fault. (Here a plate called the Jean De Fuca Plate is overrun by the North American Plate, causing the Volcanoes of the Cascade Range From Mammoth Mountain in California to Mt. Meager in British Colombia). From The British Colombia to the end of the Aleutian Island it is called (What Else?) The Aleutian Fault, once again the Pacific Plate is overrun by the North American Platecausing the Volcanoes that stretch from Anchorage to the end of the Aelutian Islands From the end of the Aleutian Islands it becomes the Kamchatka Fault. where the Siberian Plate overruns the Pacific Place. (I don't know what it's called south of Kamchitka and points behind)

The third longest fault line is the Mid-Atlantic fault line, here the Plates move AWAY for each other, causing a series of underwater volcanoes. Some Volcanoes rise above the water, forming a series of islands such as the Azores, Iceland among others.

Once again my prayers are for Nepal.
