I say thier FIRST 3 ALBUMS are insanely good....... Then they had that amazing concert IN 1983 in denver and went straight to crap after that :(

I WOULD LOVE HAVING THIER FIRST 3 RECORDS!! (I have the concert in 100% analogue purity)

The first three albums were great, including 'Live At Red Rocks' (I saw them on that tour!), and 'The Unforgettable Fire' was really good for an "experimental" album. But, yeah, 'The Joshua Tree' was both their pinnacle as well as the beginning of the end....

While I like the studio songs on the first side of 'Rattle and Hum', the rest of that album was such a colossal disappointment.

Yuo.....Stuff just got worse and worse in the 80s!!!! (Starting with digital trash ruining audio/video)
