Were they even in a relationship? Why would he propose to a woman he is not even dating? LOL

I'm sorry but I no longer like the Schnieder character after watching this episoe for 2 reasons

1. Proposing to a woman he is not dating

2. Proposing to a woman who is not attractive:lol:

Schneider was kind of jumping the gun there! And Ann at least talked him out of proposing to her in front of everyone at the party, and he did it anyway. Not out loud but at the piano, than he leaves the party all heartbroken!

And I agree I think Schneider could get a prettier lady!

Wonder why the Schneider character went from this confident single bachelor to this desperate and pathetic man LOL

All in the same season

Oh come on! Ginny is a hoot! Schneider could talk to Ginny. They were friends and Schneider felt comfortable with her, they had a connection. People have married with a lot less going between them.

You could see the writers finding not quite the right way to incorporate Ginny into the series. They thought it would be good to have a regular building resident in the cast but it really wasn't necessary, the focus should have been on Ann and her daughters.

If Ginny was younger maybe it would have worked

I wonder what happened to that other lady ? The one that David was intimate with and Ann and Schneider caught them in season 1. She was only in that one ep. never to be seen again!

Aw, come on! Is that necessary? :( IMO, that woman was good looking. She knew how to dress well, be sassy and confident about her self and she was a good friend. Those are great things.

On the first show, they referred to Schneider as being married and since then, never referred to him as being divorced, or separated. So why did Schneider propose if he was married ? When I think of the name Ginny,I think of a beautiful girl, since I never seen an ugly Ginny, until now.

Episodes later, it is mentioned that he had been divorced for about 10 years. He tells the info to Ann.

Absolutely! Ginny was like a cool, bright spot in the show. When I saw the opening for season three as a child and noticed she wasn't in it, I was taken aback. I would have liked for her to have stuck around to see how she would have interacted with Francine Webster. LOL.

Yes, I was disappointed too back in '77 when she vanished from the opening credits. She would have had some delicious catty lines with Francine, too.

You changed your IAL to a S2 avatar! Why did you change it from the S1?

We should be seeing Francine sometime later this week or early next week on the show.

I change it every so often...no big deal :)

This particular pic always struck me as odd, though. Where's Louise? Strange they would have a photo session without the whole cast assembled.
