It’s no LEGO-ized version, but this splice of footage from the Christopher Reeve-starring Superman movies, along with footage from Adam West’s term as the caped crusader on the ol’ Batman TV series, re-creating the first trailer from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has Batman hurriedly running through the streets with a bomb over his head. There’s also 100 percent more Robin and a reminder that, despite the more camptastic times, West and Reeve made superheroing look good.
So, if you thought that first real glimpse of the long-awaited superhero beatdown/romp was too dark, this might be the cure for what ails you, even though there’s a shocking lack of Batusi’ing and Richard Pryor.
