He will be back to beg in season 6 but Ann will be in a committed relationship and want no parts of him.

That was one of the big reasons it wouldn't have worked. Ann already had her kids. As a 28 year Old David wanted some. It's strange they never talked about this before now. lol

Hopefully ( In TV world) David ended up meeting a nice girl who truly loved him and wanted to have his babies! And that he ended up having a lucrative career in the law practice he went to work for in California , a nice home and family and lived a good life! ;) He deserved it after all the time and effort he went through trying to get Ann to love him with no avail! :( Hopefully there was a woman out there for him! ;)
