I guess they was started to dislike the character and was hoping that was the end of her? lol I was not expecting the audience to be cheering that Ann told her 17 year old daughter not to come back. If anything I thought they would express sadness not Happiness lol

Ann couldn't compromise with what Julie proposed! I cheered for Ann too! Julie was acting like a spoiled brat, desperate times calls for desperate measures.

Julie wanted it all her way or no way. She was a spoiled brat and she was treating her mother with total disrespect. Why should Ann give in to the little twerp's demands? Ann stood her ground and she did the right thing.

I'm with Ann totally on this one. I mean enough is enough. Btw, did Antenna cut a scene out? The very last scene in which Julie comes home and Julie and Barbara start fighting, you see Ann laughing and smiling in a chair, then it goes to a still photo of I guess Julie hugging Scheinder as she finished showering, I guess, as you see the credits. Did anybody else see that?

They also did that with the first episode of "The Runaways" also

When I saw this episode on "E" back in the 90's, I thought that Ann was going to give in. I was on the edge of my seat. When she finished her sentence with "don't come back", I was floored in a good way. I was like "Whoa". The camera closeup shot on Ann along with Bonnie's acting and her taking off and the audience clapping is what sold it for me. #goodstorytellingthere

When Julie and Chuck returned, I would have told her that she would not be welcome until she gave a genuine apology to me, Ed, Barbara and Schneider for putting us through hell.

Then I would have told her that she could see Chuck as much as she likes but he was no longer welcome in my home and if I ever saw him there, I'd call the cops. Finally, my rules would still stand....if you don't like them, you and Chuck can go right back out that door and this time stay gone.

I hate how they had Ann being all apologetic and coddling to that selfish child.

^^^ Ann didn't apologize at all. I don't know what show you were watching.

I am well aware of what show I was watching, thanks. When Julie ran into Ann's arms, they both apologized for how everything had turned out. Ann didn't need to say anything as she was not at fault.

I am just glad that she told Julie not to come back in that particular scene. Ann kept her power and she was fierce. I do agree with you about the rules standing as well.

BTW, welcome to the boards.

Julie came back on ANN'S terms, not her own ridiculous terms.

Vixenstud, welcome to the boards.

I agree I'm glad Ann stood her ground. Julie was just being a little snot about the whole thing.
