View Full Version : Does anybody get the new LAFF channel?
mets82 04-16-2015, 04:55 PM Because I dont. I mean I have WABC out of NY even though I live in CT but I have Comcast and not Cablevision or Verizon. I also have WFSB out of Hartford but it says TBA.
Here's more on LAFF from the sitcomsonline blog.

Mr. Television 04-16-2015, 05:34 PM I checked today and I don't get it.
pkripper001 04-16-2015, 06:34 PM I f you get a good signal from WABC out of NY,you should get it.

I can not get it over the air. I can not find a program schedule.
All that I can find out is they have 5 unattractive sitcoms to air and 250 movies to air. I would hope there movies are better then there sitcoms.
There website is worthless if you want information of any kind.

BigManMike 04-16-2015, 08:44 PM No I don't get it in Memphis unfortunately. I wish my ABC station WATN 24 would pick it up and add a 24.2 subchannel to show it on. I really would like to see Empty Nest.
Madness 04-16-2015, 08:53 PM No. I waited months for it, too. My program guide lists the Laff programs but the Live Well programming is still airing. I was looking forward to watching Empty Nest. By the time I actually get the channel they'll probably take it off. Empty Nest usually doesn't fair well in syndication.
MrCleveland 04-16-2015, 09:04 PM I have it now...I also get COZI on WEWS...finally!
factsoflife 04-17-2015, 07:32 PM Nope, not I.
tlc38tlc38 04-17-2015, 07:57 PM Not me. I never get the good channels because all I have access to is satellite service...so I have Directv. I hope someone records "The Drew Carey Show". I'd like to have a good quality set for that show.
Inundated 04-22-2015, 09:39 PM As MrCleveland said, Laff is on WEWS 5.3...Cozi got 5.2...
icecream 04-22-2015, 09:53 PM Their lineup so far doesn't impress me. I would rather have Me-TV, Cozi, or Decades.
veggie-tari-jenn 04-23-2015, 12:05 AM yeah...I have it and have flipped by it a few times but the programming seems meh....
Becca3557 04-26-2015, 11:10 AM Yes, we have it here in Philadelphia on Verizon FIOS channel 465. Live Well is still on 466 in HD. It premiered on 4/15. I call it the Drew and Ellen channel. Drew Carey and Ellen seem to be on multiple times each day. Grace Under Fire is on a little less. We've caught Empty Nest a few times; I think it airs at 10:00 pm. Although I used to love that show, I now find that a little David Leisure goes a long way. I remember it being funnier, but they're showing the first season and it takes a show a while to get its "legs". So far the films they are showing are totally forgettable.
I don't think that Comcast here in Philly is carrying Laff yet.

they're not, we have Comcast and we don't get it. Not that I care; they don't have anything I'd like to see.
mets82 04-27-2015, 05:49 PM Btw, I should mention that the day I started this thread I went home and found out that I have LAFF. I'm not really impressed. The only show I watch is Empty Nest. 10am airings are fine but the 2am and 5am airings are tough because I'm sleeping. Sunday is actually the best bet because they air at 7pm.
Becca3557 04-28-2015, 10:38 PM they're not, we have Comcast and we don't get it. Not that I care; they don't have anything I'd like to see.
You're not missing a thing! Maybe their programming will improve in time.
jmann 06-06-2015, 08:28 PM It's now available in the Boston area. I get it on comcast 949.
BigManMike 06-06-2015, 08:49 PM I now found out my Cox owned station WHBQ in Memphis is getting Decades instead on June 15 so I can forget about getting LAFF on it. Boo
MikeLutton 06-10-2015, 02:13 PM got it now on channel 198
LUNCH 08-14-2015, 12:20 PM Yes we get that channel here. There's not much on their line-up that interests me,so I hardly ever watch it.They should throw in a few older classic shows(1950s-mid 80s) and drop some or even most of the more moderrn fare they air. I noticed they have shown a couple of classic Disney films like the original The Shaggy Dog,that part is good and they should air more of that type of stuff too.
MikeLutton 08-14-2015, 12:25 PM I just watch empty nest that about it
James 08-16-2015, 08:51 PM Yes; it's on Dayton's WHIO subchannel 7.3. I don't watch it, tho'.
tooltime1987 09-19-2015, 09:57 AM I would like the LAFF Network to come to the Springfield/Greenfield, MA area on Comcast and Charter cable TV ASAP!!!
