I'm talking about a real, everyday job, not being a musician or stand-up comedian.

I mean Jesse (and I trying to go in chronological order) was an exterminator, he was into advertising (later going "starting his own business" w/ Joey), he was "Ranger Joe's" sidekick (Jesse was also Joey's sidekick on that science show where Stephanie broke her nose), he inherited the Smash Club, and he hosted a radio show w/ Joey.

Besides what I've already said involving him and Jesse working together, Joey was something of a Renaissance Man of sorts. Besides dabbling in acting (that sitcom pilot w/ Frankie and Annette), is a pilot and a substitute teacher.

I thought that having Jesse and Joey do a radio show was a great idea. I loved their Rush Hour Renegades name too. :) :) :)

God bless you always!!! :) :) :)

It was probably just because Jesse really wanted to be a musician and Joey really wanted to be a comedian. The other jobs were probably not something they really wanted to do. I know that Jesse quit being an exterminator because he didn't want to do the job any more. He told his dad that he wanted to pursue his music career instead. I think they did the radio show so that was why they didn't do the advertising any more. They enjoyed the radio show more than trying to come up with jingles for ads it seemed. I guess they just couldn't find something they really wanted to do and was content with because they wanted to be entertainers (musician/singer and comedian).

Because sitcoms need stories.
