After having one problem too many w/ Verizon DSL, I decided to switch over to Time Warner. The tech. can't come until Friday so I have no internet service until then.

Just wanted people to know as I won't be around as much until I get everything straightened out.

let me guess, they gave you a window for the tech to show up "sometime between 9am and 7:30pm on Friday", and then they don't specify WHICH Friday, until you press the issue with them, at which point they say something to the effect of "sometime between April and September..."

...and yet your bill will certainly arrive on time.

No. They said they could come sooner but then I would have to change my landline number. I didn't want to do that so I let them cancel everything w/ Verizon for me and waited a week.

Everything seems to be good now.
