Okay, this just struck me as strange...

We first see Jack's green, tan, and black argyle vest very early, in Season 2 (I think). I know for sure we see him wear it in Season 4 "Snow Job."

Jack's brother, Lee, also wears it in Season 4's "Lee Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother."

Larry wears it when impersonating Jack in "Alias Jack Tripper" in season 8.

Philip, Janet's betrothed, wears it in one of the last couple episodes of the series.

Jack also wore a weird buttoned, short sleeved shirt that had flamingos on it. It was purple, black and pink. Larry also wore it once or maybe twice. I guess the wardrobe department was not on top of things.

I'm sure the fact the producers kept the wardrobe budget small had more to do with it, more than wardrobe not caring who wore what. More than likely they had to just make do.

Let's face it, looking back these Three's Company shows look low budget. Credit goes to all the underpaid actors for making this show work. The production values certainly weren't what made Three's Company great.

Clothes-sharing between girls did happen, but not with the roomies. At least twice I saw Jack's girlfriends/female guest-stars wear the same thing.

Jack's gf is coming in from Oxnard in the episode Janet's Secret and Betty Jean Travers in Teacher's Pet both wear the same dress (black with blue and pink shoulder stripes).

Loni Anderson in Coffee, Tea, or Jack and Jack's interior designer gf (played by Anne Schedeen) in "Honest Jack Tripper" wear the same navy blue halter dress. And that was three seasons apart!

If the wardrobe department was that lax on keeping tabs of the clothes I'm glad it never got to the point where Jack or Larry were wearing Furley's wardrobe.

I don't think this ever happened, but Larry did have a few shirts that he could've swapped with Furley---like that parrot shirt. Does anyone remember that?

Is this the one he could have swapped with Furley ? If not, a good swap choice.

lol, YES, Larry's smoking jackets/dressing gowns were out of sight.

I always thought the shirt Jack wears in The New Landlord seemed more like a Furley shirt than a Jack shirt. It was the pink and black palm tree design.
