I'm so sorry to hear of what you are going through. Have you tried going to a church to get some sort of guidance? Talk to a minister. Maybe volunteer some where. Helping others feels good and it may lead to something too. Let people know you are looking for a job. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I do not know the field of study you went to school for, but let me tell you what jobs you may want to look for:
Teacher,if you are fluent in English and ready to lead a classroom.

Restaurant/hotel.If you get lucky,Accommodations and meals are covered.
You should earn enough to cover basic expenses. You should expect to work close to forty hours a week and should have one day off.If you can speak English and Spanish,or learn to speak both, you should expect to get a better position.

There are jobs that usually begin mid-June for individuals that are enthusiastic
open-minded,and like to work and this job will last six to ten weeks, since this time of year jobs seem to be all over,so look for work before this time to get the best chance.

Move to Orlando,Florida, plenty of work there.

Another language to know is French,to go along with Spanish.

The fact that you have access to a computer and are computer-literate can be your way out of poverty and a guide to the road of independent financial security. First open a tax escrow account with your local bank. You will be making a lot of money and will DEFINITELY need to pay your taxes (to be safe - one third of every dollar you make). Then go online and scour the web for "how to make money online using your computer - with an emphasis on "services" After about a week of searching you will come across at least 4 things that you know you can do and will be excited about getting started. Finally, stay away from offers that ask for any kind of significant amount of money to get started. Move more towards business start-ups that are based online; moving new customers that will visit your website in search of purchasing the services that you know you can offer them. Promote your business locally with flyers and business cards all steering potential customers towards your website. In a month you'll be making more money than you ever had before! Good Luck and now start that Online Search!!

Sorry to hear things aren't going well still. :( I don't know what to say except hope it gets better soon!;)

I feel really bad that the people you live with aren't being nicer to you and making you feel worse. That isn't right. It's negative and not helping your situation! :(

My prayers are with you! :)

My thoughts are with you too. You know it seems like every where you look either you or somebody you know is having a tough go at it. I'd like to know when will it break for people like Reb or myself?

I'm in the same situation as RebZissel and it sucks not having money. I don't know when I'm gonna get a job and I hope I get government money soon. I don't spend a lot of time looking for a job because I've emailed lots of jobs and didn't get that many responses. Being without a job for a long time can cause some people to be depressed and suicidal. RebZissel, only thing you can do is continue to look for a job and maybe you'll get one one day. That's all I can do too is continue to look and hopefully somebody will respond. Sometimes I feel like I wish I wasn't born because there's so many evil rich people in the world and they only care about themselves. I think the mentality of most job supervisors and owners is they could care less about the employees. Only thing they care about is making their pockets fat so they can go on nice vacations, buy nice cars and nice houses while the workers are poor and struggling to pay their bills so they can have a place to live and eat. It saddens me and pisses me off that I was at my last job for almost 9 years and I did everything my boss told me to do and it still wasn't enough to keep my job. The Hispanic women I worked with that were housekeepers had been at the job longer than me and they were laid off.

Not only that but everything you see costs YOU money. Obviously, you have to pay bills. I get that. But the bills are sky high. Plus, even if they shut your gas or electricity off, thankfully thats never happened, but there's a charge for restarting your service. Plus the banks suck. I mean everything you do involving a bank, there's a charge. OverDraft protection, 20 bucks or 2% of what you owe in overdraft protection. A 6.99 service charge withdrawl fee, 9.99 for your bank statements being sent in the mail every month. Not to mention, if your in the red in your accounts they charge you 35.00 plus 6.99 for every day your overdrawn starting with the 3rd business day and whatever you took out. So, if you took out 20 bucks and were overdrawn for a week, it would be 35.00 plus the 20 bucks plus the 6.99 a day fees that you'd have to pay. HOW THE HELL IS ANY OF THAT FAIR!!!!!

Yeah you're right and the world sucks because the rich stay rich and the poor stay poor. Life is always gonna be like that. It pisses me off when employed people talk bad about unemployed people as if unemployed people are lazy and don't wanna work which is bullsh*t. There's some unemployed people who don't mind getting welfare checks and food stamps but there's some unemployed people like you and I that want jobs. Like rapper Willie D of the Geto Boys said, we don't your welfare checks. Nig*a need a real job to buy a Rolex LOL. That's why there's always gonna be crime, unemployment and homelessness in America because the rich people that have the power to stop these problems don't wanna stop these problems. The only way these problems will go away is if unemployed people get jobs especially in black neighborhoods because crime has always been bad in black neighborhoods. Then you have the cops killing black men and a lot of black men being in prison.

RebZissel, you ever had a girlfriend or ever been married? I've had a couple of girlfriends but I haven't had one in 12 years. You know women aren't gonna be bothered with men that are unemployed. So you can forget about getting some sex when you have no money hahahahahahahahahahaha. Even when I had a job, I didn't have a girlfriend because women weren't paying me attention. Only way I got intimacy from women was paying prostitutes hahahahahahahahahahaha. I don't do that anymore but there is one black woman that i'm intimate with often who's a club stripper and I pay her $60.

I'm scared that if I don't have a job when one of my parents die, I don't know where I'm gonna live. Virginia and Maryland's housing authorities don't know when their waiting lists for low income housing are gonna open because the lists are closed. I don't make enough money from my part time job to live with a roommate or have my own place. So I'm hoping I get government money so in case one of my parents die, i'll have some money to live with a roommate. I've never been homeless and I would hate to live at a homeless shelter or on the streets. Rapper Willie D of the Geto Boys made me laugh on You Still A Nig*a song when he talked about blacks not getting jobs because of their skin color. He said try to get a job and count how many doors slam LOL. It's really not funny but that's the truth.
