Has anyone ever tried those peanut butter cups made by Boyer called Smoothies ? They're kind of like Reeses but instead of chocolate the peanut butter is entombed in butterscotch. I would always buy these when I was a kid because they were cheaper than Reeses and I thought they tasted better. I can't find them where I live but I have seen Boyer's other peanut butter cups and their Mallow cups in some of the stores around here. When I here the word Smoothie I think of Boyers.

It seems like there were a lot more candy choices back in the 70s.
We have a huge candy aisle in the store I go to but it's all the same popular stuff,Hersheys,Snickers and licorice. I was asking the guy stocking the shelves if they had any Neccos and he thought I was asking for nickels.

I sure do. Those were either very chewy or hard as plastic.

Cream filled caramels ?

No! If my memory serves me correctly, they were more like a vanilla flavor and the white filling was more like a hard, sugary sweet filling as apposed to a creamy filling ( if that makes sense?) But they were yummy!!! :happyface

Does anybody recall a candy called Bit-O-Peanut Butter? It was from the makers of Bit-O-Honey.
