It’s Bates’ Hotel. "American Horror Story" staple Kathy Bates has joined the upcoming Hotel-themed edition in a rather pivotal role, series co-creator Ryan Murphy announced on Twitter Wednesday.

"Kathy Bates is running the Hotel. #AHSSeason5"
